Jason was born in Baker, Montana on August 28, 1986 to Gary and Linda (Cameron) Wade. He grew up in Baker, graduating from Baker High School in 2005. With a caring coaching staff, Jason had the opportunity to play football for the Spartans, and was treated as a teammate and a friend. Jason enjoyed working with his hands. After graduation, he began his career in construction, first in the oilfield with F&D Oilfield Maintenance and later in home renovation. For the last ten years, Jason worked for Darron Alderman. Darron and his wife, Natasha, were very important to Jason. They treated him like family and always ensured his needs were met, no matter where their work took them.
Jason had an old soul. He made friends everywhere he went, was quick with a joke, and was able to visit with people from all walks of life. Jason experienced serious health challenges throughout his life, which he faced with dignity and strength. He never allowed these difficulties to make him bitter or to dampen his enthusiasm for the simple pleasures of living. Jason's legacy of resilience, persistence, courage, and a positive outlook-even during hard times-will provide a source of comfort for his loved ones as we process his devastating loss. Jason will be greatly missed. We will carry him in our hearts forever.
Jason had a large family who loved him dearly. He is survived by his father, Gary Wade; stepmother, Verna Thompson; brothers, Ryan (Jennifer) Wade of Grenora, ND, and Chad (Betsy) Wade of Polson; sister Marni (Kenneth) Gaskill of Volborg; stepsister Erin Harris (Kevin Brown) of Livingston; ten nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Linda; grandparents, Don Wade, Carol Wade, Terrence Cameron, Bob Dahlman, and Rosemarie Cameron-Dahlman; and special cousin, Tyler Plummer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Powder River County EMS. PO Box 200 Broadus, MT 59317.
