The school board meeting on Monday evening featured the acceptance by the board of a resignation letter from Superintendent Jim Hansen, effective after the school year concludes.
The board also approved the purchase of a remote door lock system for the high school. A similar system is currently in place at the elementary, where visitors are buzzed in from someone at the office. The new system at the high school will include replacement of the elementary system, so that they work together and visitors can be buzzed in by personnel in either building.
Tara Hodgskiss and Tessa Bird were approved as assistant girls basketball coaches. Emma Isaacs was approved as a substitute at the elementary school.
Approval was given to replace the antiquated air handlers in the high school. These air handlers are located in the gym, auditorium, woodshop, and main office.
