Hawk Football Plays In Fairview

Hawk football traveled to the farmlands of Northeast Montana on Friday, September 20th, to take on the Fairview Warriors. Ranked amongst the top teams in the state, Fairview was 3-0 going into the game against Broadus, racking up 172 points in their three wins.

Meanwhile Broadus has been struggling thus far in the season, and that story would continue as the Hawks struggled to make headway on offense against Fairview. Broadus managed 114 yards of total offense in the game, all via rushing yards, with no yards through the air.

Fairview would put up 61 points to 0 against the Hawks, who now sit at 0-4.

Raiden Aurand had 3 solo tackles and 3 assisted tackles, as well as a QB sack, while Logan Capp added a blocked kick to his resume.

During the game Isaiah McMullan suffered a concussion and is out for the season, due to a history of the injury.

The Hawks are now down to 10 players, meaning all hands on deck, with a game coming up this Friday at home against the 0-4 Wibaux Longhorns.

Broadus Head Coach Brett Emmons told us on Monday that he is assessing the team in practice this week to see what players will fit where in their offensive strategy, while working on their pass blocking. On defense, the team looks to emphasize the pass rush.
