New Powder River County Extension Agent Jackie Beardsley is excited to kick off Arthritis Exercise Classes this fall. She has been teaching Arthritis Exercise since she first started in extension in 2014. Classes will begin September 23rd and run until November 20th for the fall series. No class will be held October 14th or November 11th.
Classes will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Mondays and Wednesdays at the Senior Center. Join anytime during the series.
Arthritis Exercise classes are designed for all ages and abilities, whether people have arthritis or are working towards moving more. The program includes a health education topic and strength training, range of motion and exercises plus a brief relaxation exercise to help participants face the rest of their day and easily meet any demands that may arise.
