To the Editor:
As our nation’s birthday rapidly approaches I am so excited about this year’s 4th of July celebration in Broadus, which is highlighted by the theme UNITED WE STAND. Jessica Malone, you are such a talented lady. As we celebrate the 4th with various activities reflecting unison of purpose, I also think of another theme which is commonly associated with our great country, and this is: IN GOD WE TRUST. I hope as each of us has a chance to lift our eyes to the sky, whether that be during a community aerial photo op or watching beautiful fireworks, we will remember to give thanks to our creator for all the goodness and grace in this world. Happy 4th of July everyone!
