Members of the local Girl Scout Troop 2284 are planning to send donated Girl Scout cookies to deployed US troops, according to Troop Leader Jessica Rumph.
The girls are currently asking local residents for help in their mission, by donating cards, toiletries, high quality socks, or other goods that may be mailed.
Those who may be interested in donating goods or volunteering to help package and mail boxes are asked to contact Girl Scout Troop Leaders Jessica Rumph, Cody Kinzer, or Kalesha Reaves.
