Benefit To Be Held For Stoddard-Terrill

A benefit will be held to support Julie Stoddard-Terrill, a local lady who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer.

The benefit includes a chili and soup meal, as well as a dessert auction, and will take place at the Broadus VFW on Friday, May 3rd from 5-7pm in Broadus. The cost for the meal will be $15 per plate.

Julie wrote to us regarding herself, her diagnosis, and the path forward: "My family and I moved back to the area 5 years ago. We run a local trucking business and help out on the family ranch.

My kids attend Broadus School and are 14 and 6. I have worked at the Manor for a couple of years, and I was working as a CNA when I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer.

My diagnosis was HERS2 Triple Positive and I have a pulmonary Lymph node above my heart. In September I starterd TCHP chemotherapy treatment."

She continues "I received 6 treatments and had great success with that treatment. Following that I had surgery in March, removing multiple sentinel lymph nodes and the cancerous tumor. Unfortunately due to location it is not possible to remove the pulmonary lymph node. In April I will start radiation treatment in Billings.

I feel very fortunate to live in a community that has been amazingly supportive and caring. I have to also thank my family that has been my support every step of the way."

For those who would like to donate but are not able to attend an account is set up at Yellowstone Bank in Broadus to help Julie with her growing expenses.
