Friday, March 22nd, 29 Junior High students from Broadus Public Schools attended Junior High Music Festival organized by the music department of Colstrip Public Schools in Colstrip. Students performed solo and ensemble pieces, as well as the group band and choir songs.
Our students did a fabulous job playing in front of area music teachers, and received an abundance of constructive encouragement.
This festival gives our junior high music students the experience of what a high school music festival will be like. Broadus Schools Music Department would like to thank Mr. Trey Croft and Ms. Rachel O'Connor and Colstrip Public Schools for organizing and hosting this event, as well as Kendra Hartman and Kate Ruland for chaperoning and Ernie Reaves for keeping us safe on the road.
Mark your calendars for our upcoming concerts: Junior High/High School Spring Concert - April 30th 6:30 p.m. and the Elementary Spring Concert on May 14th at 6:00p.m.
