Powder River Community Endowment Fund Grants Now Available

By Kelda Page

It is that time again for local community organizations that are making efforts to carry out existing projects or implementing new projects and activities, to submit a PRCEF grant application.

Applications can be picked up at the Powder River County MSU Extension Office or go to our website at http://www.prscdc.com and download the application. The deadline to have applications submitted is May 1, 2024. Grants will be reviewed and scored by a committee of the School Community Development Council. If you have further questions concerning eligibility or completion of the form, do not hesitate to contact the SCDC Director, Kelda Page at 427-5181 or Karen Amende at 436-2407.

Applicants do not have to have an IRS non-profit status. The main requirement for receiving grant funds from the PRCEF is the funds have to be for a CHARITABLE PURPOSE.

We are very excited that our PRCEF is able to give back to the community. Please take the time to consider the opportunity, and to apply for available grant monies to help fund your next worthwhile project.

Check out all the grant recipients and their projects at http://www.prscdc.com.
