Broadus Elementary Students Participated in the Battle of the Books on February 23, 2024. Battle of the Books consists of students reading 12 books. The competition questions are in the form of "In which book did something happen." All groups answer the same 16 questions with 5 points for each correct title and an additional 3 for the author.
The following students participated:
3rd and 4th grade:
Charles Hartman, Krystin Kramme, Thane Kolka
Mason Kolka, Sophie Ostendorf, Paisley Harper
5th and 6th Grade:
Anna Hagedorn, Cole Draine, Maci Emmons
Dylan Krantz, Mikayla Capp, Kaylan Reaves
Aria Gatlin, Courtney Kuhbacher

Dylan Krantz, Mikayla Capp, Kaylan Reaves for the 5/6th grade Battle
The winning teams will participate in the State Battle of the Books on March13 via Zoom. The in-person event will be conducted in Missoula.
