“A good friend is like a four-leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have”. Happy March! We are still enjoying some nice weather and I am seeing many people out walking for their charities.
Our cooking class is in full swing. We are making an array of roasted veggies, desserts and main dishes. The air fryer is quick, easy and a healthy way to prepare meals. We still have room in the class if anyone would like to come join us. The class is on Thursdays from 11:30 to 1:00. We have 3 classes left.
Chair Yoga classes have started again. We are excited to have Drew Wenzel here to lead us. This class will meet on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. on March 6th and 13th and then it will be meeting on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. starting on the 28th. Yoga is a great way to promote stretching and balance.
SAIL exercises are on Mondays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. thru the 21st and then it will return to Mondays and Wednesdays the following week. These classes are also a good way to help maintain balance and keep the body in motion. We have many people attend both the SAIL and yoga classes. Come down and join in one or both we would love to have you.
We have several ladies that come to our Stitching and Lunch every other week. In March those days will be the 12th and 26th. Bring some hand work and come join us. Sometimes we visit more than we stitch! A wonderful lunch is served at noon and we would enjoy having a few more ladies to share this time with.
Ladies Lunch Out will be on the 19th at noon at the Cashway Café and Bunco will be on the 28th at 1 p.m. We could sure use a few more Bunco players and some people willing to substitute for 500. Bunco is played once a month and 500 is every other Monday. Both games are very laid back and we have a lot of fun.
The winner of our afghan raffle was Marty Copps.
Linda Wolff will be at the center on March 13th. Please let Tammy know if you need to see her, her appointment slots fill up fast.
We would like to thank a few people for their help and donations this last month. Ashley DeVore, Lisa Hart and Joyce Strobel for bringing in food pantry items, Julie Samuelson for fresh fruit and Beau Kuhbacher, Mike Williams and Ryley Giacometto for bringing in the boxes from the food bank truck. There are some people who don’t wish to be recognized here and that’s ok, just know that we truly appreciate you and all the donations and help that we get.
