Broadus basketball teams went on an impromptu road series over the weekend, after continued heating issues at the Broadus High School led to the previously scheduled home game against Plevna to be switched to playing in Plevna. Broadus then played at Terry on Saturday. Practice was still held during the week, but many players were bundled up in more clothing than usual.
