Fuels Mitigation Program Opportunity

Residents in Powder River County will have the opportunity to participate in a program on fuel mitigation on their private property.

The program can assist landowners in keeping potential wildfires out of tree canopies and assist in suppression activities.

Randy Keeran, Fire Mitigation and Education Specialist from BLM in Miles City will be here to explain the variety of methods used and the programs available to private landowners, on Tuesday, January 30th at the Courthouse Election Room at 6:00 pm. Anyone interested please join us.
