The VFW Auxiliary met November 8, 2023 for their last monthly meeting of the year. Their next regular meeting will be January 10, 2024 at 5:15 at the Hall.
Our District President, Judy Arnold, made her official visit to our Auxiliary.
The Auxiliary has started a project to identify all veterans that have served from Powder River County. If you have family members that have served please contact Pat Hanlan at 406-436-2746 or Annie Brimmer at 406-767-5683. When we feel we have gotten every name we will compile them and display them so the Community can see them.
If you know the branch of the service and the conflict they served in we would like that too. This will be all veterans-not just foreign wars. We appreciate all the information you can share with us. I think it's so important we know by name all who served. Thank you for any help you can give us.
The Auxiliary is making a Christmas wreath to put by the windmill on the Courthouse Square. You’ll be able to see it the night of the Stroll.
