Broadus Hawks Flag Football lost their opening games this past weekend to Circle and Wibaux, despite a valiant effort.
All 19 kids got playing time. The losses showed the players what the game speed feels like and will help them focus at upcoming practices. The day was beautiful and the number of Broadus supporters out was phenomenal!
The players on the team are Trace Emmons, Griffin Gardner, Krystin Kramme, Annabelle Jesttes, Cody Draine, Riley Rumph, Jesse Barnhart, Denver Kuhbacher, Randen Bilbrey, Sadie Rumph, Zach Augare, Gary Gatlin, Trey Harmon, Cort Fleming, Qian Blakeman, Sawyer Ostendorf, Thane Kolka, Monte Goggin, and Henry Schoenbeck.
The defense is coached by Justin Kuhbacher. The offense is coached by Elliott Barnhart. Pat Emmons and Jim Kolka are appreciated for their help at practices.
The Hawks Flag Football team has 2 more games, on October 1st starting at 1 pm in Miles City. There will then be a tournament on October 8th in Terry, MT.
