The Broadus Wrestling Club will be hosting a wrestling tournament for youngsters this Friday, at the high school gym in Broadus beginning at 6 pm.
The “Takedowns and Tacos” Wrestling Tournament will feature kids in grades K-12, showing off their takedown skills learned at the Broadus Wrestling Camp with host Mike Zadick, held this week. The camp is looking for a big turnout, with 60-70 kids likely attend, according to event organizers.
The public is welcome to attend the event, which will feature two mats - one featuring K-4th grade competitors, the other featuring 5th-12th grade wrestlers.
Tacos and roast beef sandwiches will be available for purchase; there is no charge to watch the event.
