It’s finally summer and we have started a new Summer Reading Bingo focusing more on kindness and being good friends. We have a bunch of new books just for this!
We are now also an affiliate with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, thanks to Montana’s First Lady, Susan Gianforte, whose Treasure State Foundation is funding our sponsorship 100%! Thank you, Susan, and it was a pleasure visiting with you during the Governor’s visit last week.
During the last week of school, Mrs. Lambert’s 2nd grade class came to the library to sign their names in over 45 books that they donated to the library. They consist of more “Dog Man” books by Dav Pilkey, The series “The InvestaGators” by John Patrick Green, “I Survived” graphic novels by Lauren Tarshis, “My Weirdest School” series by Dan Gutman, “The Glitter Dragon” series by Maddy Mara, the “Press Start” series by Thomas Flintham and other fun books like “The True Story of the Three little Pigs” by Jon Scieszka.
For our adult readers, we have “The Last Russian Doll” by Kristen Loesch, “The Bullet Garden” by Stephen Hunter, “The 23rd Midnight” by James Patterson, “McKettrick’s Pride” and “McKettrick’s Heart” by Linda Lael Miller, “The Five-Star Weekend” by Elin Hilderbrand, “Livid” by Patricia Cornwell, “The Heart’s Choice” by Tracie Peterson, “A Spanish Sunrise” by Boo Walker, “The Seaside Library” by Brenda Novak, “Dark Angel” by John Sandford, “Simply Lies” by David Baldacci, “A Place to Bury Strangers” by Mark Dawson, “The Way of the Bear” by Anne Hillerman, “The Boardwalk Bookshop” by Susan Mallory , “Said No One ever” by Stephanie Eding and “My Heart Will Find You” by Jude Deveraux.
The library hours for summer are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10 AM- 5PM
Tuesday 10 AM -6PM
Closed Saturday and Sunday
