By Laura Lee Ullrich
Monday and Tuesday June 26-27, are the dates that any and all children ages 3 through 6th grade can experience adventure in the great outdoors and learn about Jesus at the same time!
Hosted by Vic and Laura Lee Ullrich at their ranch 8 miles north of Broadus, it promises to be a fun filled two days. Kids can meet at the Lutheran Church at 10:00 on June 26 to get a ride out (or if parents plan to accompany them the kids may ride with the parents).
The 2 days will be filled with adventures such as hiking, erecting a big cross, nature crafts, Bible Stories, food, play, a campfire, singing, s’mores, prayers, and… sleeping in a tent!
All meals will be provided. The event is free and open to all denominations.
Please preregister your kids by calling Laura Lee at 436-2214 or on Facebook.
What can you do to help? We will be needing a few tents depending on how many kids we get. Parents are welcome to attend any and all parts including sleeping in the tents.
Camp will finish around 5:00 pm on June 27 with a pitch in picnic. We are looking forward to this fun adventure!
