Art and Soul, the local artisan club, is hosting an art contest for the community children.
The contest is entitled “The Land That I Love”, a patriotic themed competition that will be held in conjunction with the Fourth of July celebration hosted by the Broadus Volunteer Fire Department.
The contest has four divisions – Preschool, K-2nd grade, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th grade.
Cash prizes will be awarded for those placing first through third. Submissions should be dropped off at the Library by July 1st.
