Broadus Public Schools is conducting a survey to gauge interest in the proposed 2023-24 school calendar. The survey deals with the modified 4-day schedule adopted at the March meeting, and is available for all members of the community to fill out and submit.
The survey, available at the school’s website, http://www.broadus.net, features six questions, and room to comment on the modified 4-day schedule. An email address is required, but a name is not required for the survey.
The calendar is also available to view on the website.
Hard copy surveys are also available to fill out, available at the high school and elementary main offices.
The calendar adopted at the meeting features an 8 AM-3:30 PM schedule, with students attending classes 1-2 Fridays a month. The new calendar features around 30 more in-person learning hours compared to the 22-23 calendar.
The School Board will use the results from the survey to determine how to move forward with the 2023-24 school calendar.
May 3rd is the deadline for survey submissions.
