On Tuesday, April 11th the Powder River County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Montana Department of Corrections Probation and Parole with a search of the Kyle Giacometto property at 201 South Park in Broadus. Probation violations were found; details were still pending in District Court records as of press time.
On Saturday night around midnight, the department made an arrest of Daniel Hartman, age 51 of Broadus, at the Montana Bar in Broadus. Hartman was charged with Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct and placed into custody over the weekend, and is scheduled to make an appearance on May 1st in Justice Court.
Sheriff Devin Boman is currently attending the MT Law Enforcement Academy. During his absence, Undersheriff Ayche Draine is working as active Sheriff.
