The "Broadus Lady Hawks" 7th grade girls team won second in their division at the Cowtown Classic Basketball Tournament over the weekend.
In the first game, Broadus played Ekalaka, with Broadus winning by a final score of 25-4. In the second game, Broadus played Miles City, winning with a score of 22-17. The third game Broadus played Melstone, and the score was 35-7.
In the championship, the girls faced Custer/Hysham, losing in a close game 33-30.
The weekend of March 11-12 the girls went to Glendive to the Makoshika Basketball tournament and won 2nd place at the tournament.
