New Options Available At Powder River Physical Therapy

The county's physical therapy department, located at the north end of Powder River Manor's north wing, has a newly updated gym, and is currently accepting members from the public at large.

The gym features newly updated workout equipment including a rack setup where members may perform a variety of exercises – everything from back squats to pull-ups to lat pulldowns.

Cardio equipment at the gym includes a Nu-Step, treadmill, and a bike which uses upper and lower body movement.

Membership dues are $29.99 per month, and may be purchased annually, where a discount will be applied. Members will be provided a key code for entry, and the hours of availability are 5 AM – 9 AM and 5 PM-10 PM Monday through Fridays, and 8 AM to 9 PM on weekends and holidays.

In addition to the gym the Physical Therapy Department offers a variety of options for those seeking physical therapy.

Kylie Randall and Rhonda Rosencranz are available to treat patients – here is a bio on each provider:

Kylie Randall is an occupational therapist (OT) originally from Bozeman, MT. She currently works at Powder River Physical Therapy in Broadus, at Rosebud Health Care in Forsyth, and at Bridger Orthopedic in Bozeman.

Kylie works in various settings including outpatient, skilled nursing, schools, and hospitals. She has most of her OT experience in the rehabilitation of the upper extremity (shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand) after injury and surgery.

Her true passion is working with post-surgical hand and wrist patients in the outpatient clinical setting.

Kylie is Astym certified and loves to utilize Astym tools in many of her treatment sessions. Astym is a non-invasive therapy utilized to engage the body's natural restorative mechanisms. Astym Certified providers use FDA-registered medical instruments to stimulate tissue remodeling, healing, improve mobility, and decrease pain.

Rhonda Rosencranz is a Physical Therapist (PT) who is originally from Broadus, MT.

In the 23 years of being a PT, she has worked in many facilities and settings.

In Florida, she worked at an outpatient clinic with a large group of excellent surgeons and other clinicians specializing in sports rehab.

She has worked with athletes from various levels of competition, including international tennis, the NFL, arena football, the NHL, Motorcross, and Little League baseball players.

In Texas, Rhonda worked in an Acute Rehab Unit in a large hospital with recent stroke patients, amputees and post-surgical knees, hips, backs and shoulders.

In Utah, Rhonda worked at a transitional rehab facility with a broad spectrum of diagnoses from severe medical conditions to post-surgical orthopedic conditions (knees, hips, backs, shoulders).

In Broadus, Rhonda has added geriatrics and school-based PT to her list of clinical experience. Her passion is seeing others get better, but her true love continues to be orthopedic post-surgical knee, hip, back and shoulder conditions.

Rhonda recently completed her Level II Certification in Dry Needling and is excited to expand into needling around the spine.
