We have many opportunities for students to have summer jobs here in our area. Sometimes our kids do not know who has openings, and sometimes our businesses have a hard time finding the help they need.
I am inviting you to consider joining us for a Job Fair at the High School on Wednesday, April 19th from 1:30-3:00 pm. Employers can sign up for a table space in our auditorium and have one or more representatives available to answer student questions and have job applications available. Interviews can take place on site or at an alternate date and time. This will be up to each business.
I will begin working on a list of possible jobs available that day, so students can know ahead of time who they might want to talk to. This list can be updated often as time gets closer.
Available jobs can range from part-time to full-time, some will have age requirements and some may not. Examples could include: lifeguards, waitresses /cooks, housekeeping, mechanic help, babysitting, day care staff, CNA’s, stocking shelves, checkers, ranch help, etc. Ranchers and other agricultural businesses looking for help are also welcome to attend.
These open positions may not begin until after school is out, but if you need help sooner, just advertise it that way. If you have an idea, share it with me and we will see how we can make it work!
If you are interested in reserving a space and would like to continue receiving updates regarding this event, please send the following information to [email protected] or to Dori Phillips, PO Box 500, Broadus, MT 59317: Business/Employer name, email address, type of job(s) available, number of openings, and any questions or ways Dori can help you.
