Several local rodeo competitors won money at the 44th Annual Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals held at Montana Expo Park in Great Falls on January 12-14, 2023.
Joey Williams won the third round of the Breakaway Roping with the finals fast time of 1.9 seconds, garnering $2439.68. Joey was also the Year-end Circuit Champion, with $12,090.34 total winnings for the year. Her horse, Baybe Bullet, took home the honors for Montana WPRA Horse of the Year. Joey qualified for the NFR Open, to take place in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Radley Day, along with his partner Jared Bilby, placed second in the third round of the Team Roping with a 4.5 second performance, netting them $1829.76 in winnings.
Ashley Day was runner-up in the second round of the Barrel Racing with a time of 13.05 seconds to win $1,830, and she charged to a win with a 12.81 time in the third round and a pot of $2439.68. She won 4th in the average, with 43.90 overall time, winning another $914.88.
