Present at the meeting were Mayor Lyman Amsden, newly elected Mayor Chad Gatlin, Councilperson Wanda Smith, Councilperson Raevyn Slovek, Councilperson Lori Turnbough, Councilperson Cody Morris, Public Works Raymond Ragsdale, Public Works Cassidy Zimmer, and Judge McEuen.
Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Mayor Gatlin called the meeting to order. Judge McEuen swore in Mayor Chad Gatlin, Councilperson Lori Turnbough and Councilperson Raevyn Slovek.
Public Works Ragsdale reported working on a list of money to use grant monies on including drilling a new well and is compiling a list of other projects that need to be done. Any suggestions from Council and other employees are encouraged.
Public Works Zimmer reported on the past few months of projects and routine maintenance items. The new garbage truck will possibly be here in February.
With no further business before the Council, Councilperson Morris moved to adjourn. Councilperson Turnbough seconded the motion. Mayor Gatlin adjourned this meeting of the Broadus Town Council at 6:30 pm.

Present at the meeting were Mayor Chad Gatlin, Councilperson Wanda Smith, Councilperson Raevyn Slovek, Councilperson Lori Turnbough, Councilperson Cody Morris, Public Works Raymond Ragsdale, and Public Works Cassidy Zimmer.
Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Mayor Gatlin called the meeting to order. Public Works Ragsdale discussed sewer headworks with visual aid and possibly using ARPA money to fund this project. PW Ragsdale and PW Wilson will be attending water/wastewater school in Forsyth for CEC’s.
Public Works Zimmer reported on routine maintenance of equipment – loader, SR240 skid steer, “Clifford” garbage truck is in Denver getting kicker put on and should be here by the end of the month; crushed three bales of cans with the Jr. High girls traveling team; will be attending water/wastewater school March 23 -25 for CEC’s; and sale of Badco Broom. Wood, ashes, metal (transmissions) and cardboard have been getting put in dumpsters. The community needs reminded these items are not allowed.
With no further business before the Council, Councilperson Morris moved to adjourn. Councilperson Turnbough seconded the motion. Mayor Gatlin adjourned this meeting of the Broadus Town Council at 5:50 pm.
