Chairman Lee Randall called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM in the Commissioner’s office, Powder River County Courthouse. Commissioners Donna Giacometto and John Olson present.

Teel Mullanix, Road Supervisor, stopped in to visit with Commissioners.

Landfill 1991 Chevy dump truck caught on fire on October 29, 2022, and was a complete loss. Liability only on dump truck and no other damages were reported. The board reviewed and signed contract with Hanging JN Repair for landfill maintenance.

Propane Bid opening began at 10:00 AM.

Bids Received: Alderman Oil- Board approved unanimously to accept Alderman Oil bid.

Fuel Bid opening began at 10:15 AM.

Bids Received: Alderman Oil - Board approved unanimously to accept Alderman Oil bid.

Don Birkholz, Cemetery Groundskeeper, stopped in to discuss purchase of lawn mower and provide a cemetery update.

During the day claims were reviewed and approved for payment of various county departmental expenses as submitted by the Clerk & Recorder’s office.

Adam Johnson, EMS Director, met with board to conduct weekly update. He presented medical director contract for board to review. Updated on general department purchases, EMS classes, reported new ambulance should arrive first part of November.

Sean Hill, Medical Administrator met with board. 20 residents reported. Presented memorandum of understanding for updated medical director Jeff Hostetter and contract with Adam Hall for a medical director. Board will review both documents. Henry Schein lab representative was here last week and toured the clinic, will be getting a quote for updated lab.

Commissioner Donna Giacometto left the meeting.

Ron Hecker, Forest Service met with board. Discussed logging projects and potential funding for roads.

Pine Creek Road was discussed and the board will begin the public hearing process to update a speed limit.

Tim Stradinger, TRECO, stopped in to update board of information previously re-quested on the electricity at the indoor arena.

Pine Creek Road was briefly discussed and no decisions were made.

Aging area I contract was reviewed and signed.

The board will reconvene Monday, November 7, 2022.

Chairman Lee Randall called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioner’s office, Powder River County Courthouse. Commissioners Donna Giacometto and John Olson were present.

Teel Mullanix, Road Supervisor, met with the board. Mullanix conducted a general update.

Sheriff Boman met with the board to inform the board of concerns regarding child exploitation on the internet. DCI of MT offers training at the expense of DCI and Boman will be looking into this training for his department.

Recycling Center employee met with the board to discuss recent mess at center. The employee also requested a leave of absence from the county from December to February. The board approved the leave of absence and a short-term employee has been approved to fill in during the vacancy.

Discussion was then held on the landfill equipment. The loader is still broke down; the County Road Department will take a backup loader to the landfill.

The board reviewed and signed EMS Medical Director contract with Logan Health.

Administrative duties were conducted by the board.

Commissioner Donna Giacometto left the meeting.

Marty Drane, Maintenance Supervisor, met with the board to conduct a general update.

The board heard no further public comment, and ad-journed at 5:00 p.m. and will reconvene on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
