Library Notes

by Henry A. Malley Memorial Library Head Librarian Barb Mitchell

We are excited to have Dora Huckins’ ship and shell collection in our display case. Make sure to go back and admire it when you stop in!

We will be closed Friday, November 11th in honor of our Veterans. We will be open Saturday, November 12th.

We still have the MiFi hotspots available to check out for our patrons. This is a free service for those who need it, supplied by the Montana State Library.

We also are able to borrow books from other libraries that we don’t have on the shelf through our Interlibrary Loan program.

Our MtLib2Go service is changing from Overdrive to Libby in early January; if you need help changing over let us know – we will do our best to help you.

I’ve ordered some large print westerns for those of us who need the larger print; so far we’ve received “Smash the Wild Bunch” by Giles Lutz. More are on the way, coming in November and December!

We have a lot of new adult fiction books including: “Verity” by Colleen Hoover, “Next in Line” by Jeffery Archer, “Oath of Loyalty” by Vince Flynn, “Killing the Legends: The Lethal Danger of Celebrity”, and “Killing the Killers: The Secret War Against Terrorists”, both by Bill O’ Reilly, “The Winner” by Fredrik Backman, “Treasure State” by CJ Box, “The Boys From Biloxi” by John Grisham, “No Plan B” by Lee Child, “Righteous Prey” by John Sandford, “Best Practices” by Gwen Florio, “Death of a Rainmaker” and “Funeral Train”, both Dust Bowl mysteries by Laurie Loewenstein, “The Bodyguard” by Katherine Center, “The High Notes” by Danielle Steel, “Fallen” by Linda Castillo, “Long Shadows” by David Baldacci, “The Maze” by Nelson DeMille, “Mad Honey” by Jodi Picoult, “Striking Range” by Margaret Mizushima, and “The Beekeeper from Aleppo” by Christy Lefteri.
