Two of the last local golf tournaments of the summer season took place over the past couple weekends. "The Tournament", held August 27th and 28th featured 32 teams, with two golfers per team over the two day tournament. Gye Varner and Doug Mraz placed second on Saturday and fifth on Sunday, winning the overall tournament. Calvin Monger and Kyle Ostman placed second, with Quentin and Kade Rumph winning third overall.
At the Spencer Damm Memorial Tournament held on September 4th, 14 couples teams played. The tournament was won by Logan Bird and Shavon Harmon, with Jeff and Kelsey Bird placing second. Jason and Hattie Arithson placed third, and Tyler and Kelli Gardner, fourth.
On September 25th the "Skins Game" two person team tournament will be held at Rolling Hills Golf Course.
