Our 11 Broadus students competed against a total of 120 students. The students take a 100 question written test, which seeds them as a team and then compete in oral rounds in the afternoon. Broadus B placed 4th and Broadus A placed 13 in the written rounds against a total of 21 teams.
Individual placers in the written test competing against 51 seventh graders: 31st - Ashton Madsen, 12th place - Logan Capp, 11th place - Kassie Hagedorn, 9th place - Justin Aye, 6th place - Eli Jurica.

The team played two rounds in the Oral competition before being beat out.

These students gave up their lunch period for almost 6 weeks to attend this event. They did a great job of representing our school. It is great to see our students learn, grow and show off their education. Thank you to Eric Myers and Rebecca Boman for training the teams for competition.
