Chairman Lee Randall called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioner’s office, Powder River County Courthouse. Commissioners Donna Giacometto and John Olson were present.
The board read and approved meeting minutes from January 31, 2022 to be published. The board reviewed and read the consent agenda.
9:00 a.m. - Road Supervisor Teel Mullanix met with the board. Mullanix reported on graveling and blading of roads.
10:00 a.m. - Resolution 2022-4, Resolution to Create and Update Powder River County Cattle Guard Policy. John Olson motion to approve, Donna Giacometto seconded, motion carried.
11:00 a.m. - Resolution 2022-6, Resolution to Create Rental Agreements for County Facilities, John Olson motioned to approve, Donna Giacometto seconded, motion carried.
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Commissioners adjourned for lunch.
1:00 p.m. - Extension Agents Mary Rumph and Julie Riley met with the board. The agents updated on monthly happenings: Steps for Charity has started, Mini Congress was a success, Ag Winter Series went well, and Big Sky Big Leadership class has begun. Fairboard term lengths were then discussed.
2:00 p.m. - Medical Administrator Sean Hill met with the board. Hill reported 28 residents. Hill also informed the board of staff shortages.
4:00 p.m. - The board finished the afternoon with administrative duties.
The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m. Commissioners will meet again on Monday, February 14, 2022.
