A group of local archers and air rifle shooters competed at the Carter County 4-H Invitational Match, recently in Ekalaka. Ten local shooters attended the match, and all ten placed.
Archery results are as follows:
Kade VerWolf placed 1st in Bare Bow in the 11-12-year-old age group with a 201. He placed 8th in Air Rifle.
Darren VerWolf is in the 13-14-year-old age group and placed 1st in Bare Bow with a 224. He placed 7th in Air Rifle.
Carter D'Amico is in the 9-10-year-old age group and place 1st in Limited Bow with a 199.
Reuben Kinzer is in the 13-14-year-old age group and placed 1st in Primitive Bow with a 264.
Jeff Cahoon is in the 13-14-year-old age group and placed 3rd in Bow Hunter with a 262.
Grayson Arithson is in the 15-18-year-old age group and placed 2nd in Bow Hunter with a 292.
Delaney Ruland, in the 9-10-year-old age group, placed 2nd in Bow Hunter with a 219.
Justin Aye is in the 11-12-year-old age group and placed 1st in Limited with a 222. He was 2nd in Primitive with a 140. Justin placed 3rd in Air Rifle.
Becca Aye is in the 13-14-year-old age group and placed 1st in Limited with a 241. She placed 6th in Air Rifle.
Hunter Stanton is in the 11-12-year-old age group and placed 4th in Bow Hunter with a 227.
The Air Rifle team, consisting of Darren and Kade VerWolf, and Becca and Justin Aye placed third.
