PRCDHS will hold its annual Homecoming celebration from September 20th through the 24th, with a theme of “American History and Military”. A number of times were not set as of printing on Tuesday, but here’s what we know. Monday will be “Decades Day”; each class will have a different decade as a theme to dress around, and coronation of the Homecoming King and Queen will be held sometime that day. Tuesday will be “Hero and Villain Day”, with individuals dressing as their favorite hero or villain. The schedule indicates a Nerf class war that day.
Wednesday will be “Holidays Day”, with each class picking a specific holiday, and members of that class dressing for the holiday. That day float building will take place at the fair barn, with churches serving dinner in the evening.
Thursday is “‘Merica Day”, with students dressing patriotically. A pep assembly will be held at 11:30, with a home volleyball game against Ekalaka scheduled for that day. The junior high B squad will lead off at 3:30, followed by the JH A, JV, and a varsity game scheduled for 7 pm.
Friday will be “Green and White Day”, with students dressing in the school colors. Float decoration and decoration of the town will take place in the lead up to the parade, which will take place at 1:30, followed by football games against Poplar, with the junior high game kicking off a 4:30, and the varsity at 7. An FFA "labor" silent auction is also scheduled during the volleyball and football games.
