A new visual attraction can be seen in the PRCDHS weight room. New murals were recently completed by art students. The new murals replaced an "underwater fish mural" that was created in 1995 by PRCDHS art students for the former student lounge. It was appreciated for many years until the room was remade into the current weight room. The calming underwater scene really wasn't conducive to "pumping up" in a weight room environment.
Last year, students voted on new mural proposals created by art students. Mia Mader and Savannah Weaver's designs received the most votes as mural replacements. Savannah finished her mural creation last spring before the COVID shutdown. This year, Mia Mader's design was recreated and completed by art students.
Be sure to stop by the high school and check out the "invigorating" and creative additions to our weight room.
