Commissioners Proceedings

April 8, 2021

Commissioners met for their weekly meeting with Lee Randall, Donna Giacometto, and John Olson present.

Meeting was called to order. No public comment was received at this time. Consent agenda approved.

Clerk and Recorder Cynde Gatlin presented a verbal request from a local resident for the use of the big baseball field for a youth event. The board approved the request, and will contact Marty Drane, Maintenance Supervisor, to get the bathroom facilities usable.

An EMS update was given by Donna Giacometto. Giacometto reported she has been working with Francine Gionie, DPHHS, to help assist her in the startup of the program.

The board then spent some of the day reading correspondence and taking care of various administrative duties.

No public comment was heard at this time.

April 12, 2021

Commissioners met for their weekly meeting with Lee Randall, Donna Giacometto, and John Olson present.

Meeting was called to order. No public comment was received at this time. Consent agenda approved.

Teel Mullanix, Road Supervisor, met with the board. The Cemetery Road was discussed. The board also requested the road department bring some gravel to the fairgrounds.

Kathy Roberts, Transportation Director, met with board for her monthly meeting. Roberts updated the board on her department happenings. Discussion was held on the sale of vehicles in the county auction.

Raymond Ragsdale, Fire Chief, stopped in to visit with commissioners and discuss fire restrictions. Ragsdale reported some of the outer lying counties that are moving into restrictions and wanted to invite the commissioners to the fire meeting, April 13 at the fire hall. John Olson stated he will attend.

Extension Office, Mary Rumph and Julie Riley met with the commissioners. They reported on a new noxious weed and drought indications and the grasshopper program.

Teel Mullanix stopped back in to inform the board he spoke with Brandon Duffey, Great West Engineering, regarding the cost of increasing the size of the Moorhead Bridge.

The board then closed the meeting to conduct two Pool Supervisor interviews.

No public comment was heard at this time. Meeting adjourned.
