The Broadus Golf team did not make any trips over the last week, as their competitions were cancelled due to inclement weather.
We finally received results from the Colstrip Meet, held earlier this month.
The Broadus girls won third at Colstrip, narrowly missing second place by two shots to Harlowton. The Broadus girls golfed a 473, while Harlowton golfed a 471. The Colstrip girls won at home with a 430.
Individual scores included Emma Isaacs with a 110, Lea Aye a 118, Lauryn Billing a 115, and Graci Barbero a 130.
Abby Baer of Colstrip won the meet on the girls side, golfing a 90.
For the Broadus boys, Joziah Brost led the team with a 108, followed by Payson Kuhbacher with a 115, Colton Biesheuvel with a 117, Cooper Zimmer with a 123, and Wyatt Gee with a 149.
The top performing boy at Colstrip was Jaxon Tronstad of Baker, who golfed an 82.
The Broadus boys team scored a 463, with Baker winning the meet with a 347. Baker golfers took the top four places at the meet, with all four scoring between 82 and 89.
The team stayed home on Tuesday after the Sidney meet was cancelled. They will next travel to Forsyth this Thursday, followed by a trip to Glendive on Monday.
Chad wanted to thank the volunteers for the Broadus meet against Fairview, held earlier this month at Rolling Hills Golf Course. He told us the volunteers helped tremendously to ensure the meet ran smoothly.
