AAU Wrestling Mixer Held

Broadus Wrestling Club held its 2nd Annual March Mixer with Colstrip and Miles City Wrestling Clubs attending, last Thursday. Broadus was represented by 22 Hawk wrestlers, led by their head coach Garrett Goggin. The Hawk wrestlers were able to put all of their practice to the test with a large crowd attending to cheer them on. Broadus had 32 wins on the night, but with just one more at 33 wins, the Miles City Club was awarded the coveted cupcake prize. Laura Lambert won the 50-50 raffle and donated the winnings to the club, thank you Mrs. Lambert! Seth McDowell and Dakota Holbrook did an excellent job of officiating the matches. Thank you to Tim Draine, Justin Augare, and Corbin Irish for their coaching and to all of the student table workers, concessions workers and parents who also volunteered their time to make the evening a success. A big thanks to Frankie Schoonover, Ren Gardner, and Joe Clark for helping organize the tournament. We are proud of our Hawk wrestlers! Thank you to Coach Goggin for a great wrestling season.
