4-H News

The Mizpah Masters held their second meeting on December 16, 2020 at the Fire Hall. President, Avery Kramme, opened the meeting. Becca Aye led the American Pledge and Justin Aye led the 4-H Pledge. Minutes from the last meeting were read by Justin Aye and the treasurer's report was read by Lea Aye.

Old business was discussed. For new business, we set up a time to deliver presents to the Nursing Home and decided on a fair nomination and theme.

Next meeting is scheduled for January 10, at the Aye’s house, hosted by Madisyn Kramme. Meeting adjourned by Becca Aye and seconded by Justin Aye.

The Tongue River Crossroads 4-H club met in December to decorate a snowman for the contest. Thank you to Knoblochs for the idea and wood! Members of the club took turns painting and decorating the snowman. We had fun eating cookies and changing the snowman’s decorations many times. It was nice to have our member Casey, home from college for Christmas break, join us for our meeting.

On January 13th, Powder River Rising Stars held a meeting in the election room. We reviewed the last meeting. Emelyn Harper gave a report on the steer weigh in. Reuben Kinzer told the club about the shooting sports award that he received. The club voted to smash cans for the 4-H fundraiser. We worked on fair theme ideas. We talked about who we should nominate for this year's fair book. The club decided to make Valentine's cards for the residents at the Manor. Next meeting will be Sunday, Feburary 7 at the VFW.
