Manor to allow visitations beginning next Monday

By Powder River County Health Officer Sean Hill

Now that we have moved past our recent outbreak of COVID-19 in the Manor we are once again pleased to announce in-person visitation with our residents, effective Monday December 21st, 2020.

We recognize the hardships everyone has faced and hope that all families take this opportunity to visit their loved ones during this holiday season. Thank you for helping us keep the residents safe.

We must require all visitation to strictly adhere to the following:

All visitation must be scheduled. Please contact Kori or Brittani at 406-436-2646 to schedule a visitation time.

Due to limited staff and additional cleaning/sanitizing, visitation must be restricted to M-F 8 am- 5pm, and Saturdays 9 am-6 pm.

All visitors must have a negative COVID-19 test no older than 48 hours prior to the visitation. Powder River Manor does not have the resources to conduct testing. Please contact public health, the medical clinic or your provider for testing.

All visitors must be screened for illness upon entering. Anyone showing signs symptoms of illness will not be allowed to continue visiting.

Only one resident at a time should be visited to keep exposures low. We recommend no more than (4) family members visit at any time as our visitation areas are small.

All visitors must properly wear masks at all times and make all attempts at limiting close contact.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer meals with family at this time; please take this into consideration when scheduling visitation.

We must all understand that COVID-19 is still very active and this policy is subject to change with no notice, given exposures to our residents. Please consider practicing the big three: masks, hygiene and distancing in day-to-day activities to further reduce any possible exposures to our residents.

Be safe, enjoy the holidays and please schedule a visit. Our residents would love to see their family.
