The monthly FFA chapter meeting was held on the 17th of September. During the meeting, virtual contests were chosen for members to participate in, including the FFA districts, John Deere Ag Expo, as well as the NILE and Ruby River Invitational livestock judging contests. Future community service projects were also planned.
State degree recipients were Deanna Twedt, Garrett Cunningham, Gavin Severide, Joziah Brost, Kortny Cathey, Kyle Minow, and Megan Johnson.
We also welcome two new officers to our chapter, with Sophie Irish filling the Historian position, and Joziah Brost likewise filling the Student Advisor position.
District range participants placed as follows: Josiah 4th, Garrett 5th, Kortny 7th, Lauryn 9th individually, and altogether they placed 2nd as a team.
The District livestock team of Kortny Cathey, Marcus Mader, Alex Edwards, and Mia Mader placed 3rd, with Kortny placing 4th and Marcus placing 6th individually.
