The VFW Auxiliary met July 8 for the first time since March. Protocol of the times was followed. The main issue of discussion was the county fair. We decided that the “virus” couldn’t get a good hamburger down. Once again the VFW hamburgers will be available at the fair. There will be some changes in the way we do things to follow the guidelines for public safety. County Health Nurse Darlynn Williams attended our meeting. She gave us information on how we need to do things to satisfy health safety measures.
Our fall district meeting will be in Jordan on September 12, 2020.
Our next monthly Auxiliary meeting will be August 12 at 5:15 p.m. at the hall.
If we could all hop like these grasshoppers just think how active our county would be (I would like to see the hoppers on social distancing).
In the meantime, come enjoy the fair and keep eating those good old American beef VFW hamburgers. Yum, yum, yum!
