Mobile Fabric Store Coming To Broadus

By Pat Ridenour

Stitch and Chatter Quilt Club has invited a mobile fabric store to come to Broadus on July 28th, 2020. They will set up on the East side of the Powder River Historical Museum at 10 AM and close at 6 PM.

The Wayward Quilters Halfway House from Circle, MT decided to set up a 30' trailer with quilting cottons, batiks, flannel, minky, 108" wide backing, batting, and patterns to serve communities that do not have access to a local quilting store.

Partners, Carla Huseby and Kylene Gackle are the duo that contacted the local quilt club to see if there would be interest in them coming to Broadus. The Quilt Club members were favorable to the idea, as July 28th is the date of the next Quilt Club meeting.

Area Quilters and Sewing Enthusiasts are welcome to come and shop. Wearing a mask and social distancing will be your option. They come from an area that does not have Covid-19, as we are.

The Quilt Club meeting will be held at the Election Room at the Court House at 1:30 PM on July 28th. We will be social distancing at the meeting. Visitors are welcome.
