As we reported last week, the PR County Commissioners discussed and planned a vote on changing their salary from the current full-time pay of around $43,000 a year and dropping to ¾ time pay. The vote came after our publication was sent out to the printer, on Tuesday afternoon July 14th. Commissioner Randall made a motion to move to ¾ pay, but failed to receive a second, so the motion died. This means the commissioners will continue to receive a full-time salary.
