Museum to Remain Closed Until Phase 3

Although typically open the first week of June, the museum board has voted not to allow public access until Montana reaches Phase 3 of the reopening plan. This decision is based on the limitations of our facility, sanitation requirements and most importantly, the safety of our many vulnerable volunteers. Limited, pre-scheduled, private tours/viewings can still be arranged by calling 436-2474 or 436-2352.

Unfortunately, due to current COVID-19 restrictions the Homesteader Days event scheduled for June 15-19 has been cancelled. We are disappointed not to be able to offer this experience, but we thank you for your understanding and support of this incredible organization.
