Here’s the status of coronavirus in Powder River County, as of June 2nd. Last week, fifty coronavirus tests were performed on Powder River Manor staff and residents, as part of the governor’s directive to test high risk populations. All tests came back negative. The Powder River Public Health office also tested three people over the last week as part of pre-procedure testing. Those tests also came back negative. There have been zero positive cases of COVID-19 to date in Powder River County.
Montana currently has 44 active cases. Testing is ramping up, with 1,555 tests performed between Monday and Tuesday, and 42,212 tests performed in Montana in total.
