We are gearing up for the HEALTH FAIR on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Community Center and Hammond School. We have a variety of tests available including Chemistry Panel, Lipid Panel, CBC, TSH, PSA and HGB A1c for diabetics and Vitamin D. These are all screening tests and we remind you to take the results to your healthcare provider when you receive your results. The test results will be returned in a week and if you will not be in town to pick these up, please send a stamped self-addressed envelope and we will mail them to you. Also, if your spouse has a test we need his/her permission written or called to us for you to pick their tests up.
We ask that you be pre-registered and pre-paid by June 3th, 2020. This ensures the paperwork will be completed in time for the Health Fair. Call 436-2651 if you have any questions and Debbie Harrington is in charge of those at Hammond, 427-5383.
Please drink plenty of water the day before and the morning of the testing, along with your morning medications. We ask if you have signed up for the Lipid Panel to fast, no food after midnight to insure an accurate testing of your Cholesterol and Triglycerides. There will be no food or drinks available so please plan accordingly.
Our plan is to have 15 clients in at a time for social distancing during your time slot given to you, so we ask that you not come early, and if you do, please wait outside. We ask that you come in the front doors, have your blood drawn and exit out the side door. We will not have any booths inside, nor will we have anyone take your blood pressure this year. We are doing what we can to keep everyone safe and please wear your mask if you so choose – the PR Extension Office has masks if you need one. They are donated by HOPA, Montana out of Bozeman and the Extension Office has partnered on these masks with the Senior Center, 1st Responders and PR Public Health. The Extension Office is open Monday through Thursday 8:00-5:00.
Please pre-register and pre-pay by June 3rd, 2020 and see you on the 11th of June at the Community Center.
