Little League Baseball Still On Hold, Driver's Ed Will Proceed

Little League Baseball in Broadus is on hold for now, according to Jerry Coulter. He tells us that the decision on whether or not to hold a season will be determined after the 1st of July, and will depend on where the state is with the COVID-19 phases, and what parents and others involved with the program determine as being safe for our community.

Jerry also tells us that the Spring 2020 Driver’s Ed students will begin to drive after June 1. The state and local school board have cleared the program to proceed, with several stipulations in place about the number of kids in the car, cleaning procedures, and protocols similar to other parts of our new reality. Students are asked to bring their TELL license, as well as their GDL Card when they come to drive.
