4-H Family Feature

Corey & Casey Knobloch, pictured at left, describe their breeding sheep project. Casey said, "I chose this project because it is hands-on and I have learned more than what I signed up for. I have found it challenging to keep them alive and thriving throughout this entire process, due to the fact that raising sheep is new to our family." She is practicing social distancing by (when not doing school work) driving the tractor, "going around in circles. I find this to be the most tranquil part of my day". Corey chose to raise sheep because "I like that it is a life-long project. I find it challenging to keep sheep in any certain area." Corey reported that, "When not working on school work, I am helping my dad get the equipment and cows ready for the spring and summer seasons."

We will be featuring more 4-H families in upcoming issues. This picture, as well as the information come to us courtesy of PR Extension Office.
