The Powder River County Health Department, in conjunction with the town of Broadus, have made a form available to report violations of the Governor’s COVID-19 Directives.
The complaint form is available at the front door of the Broadus town office; a drop box is also provided to submit the forms.
The form has been made to report businesses or individuals who are not following the governor’s directives, whether those on business closures, social distancing guidelines not being followed, or other COVID-19 related directives, of which the list is long.
Those filling out forms are asked to first read the directives to ensure a complaint is valid, fill out the form with information on names, location of violation, description, as well as their contact info, and return to the town office or health board. Anonymous submissions will not be accepted. Those with questions may call the town office at 436-2315.
As of April 3rd, no complaints had been submitted.
As of Monday, April 6: One test had been administered, which tested negative. One test was completed on a PR County resident in a different county, which also turned out negative.
