Election filing deadline drawing near

The application deadline for the upcoming open county positions is March 9th, at 5 PM. Two county positions are up for election – the District 1 County Commissioner, and the District Clerk of Court. As of Tuesday, no one had filed for either position. For questions about the positions, please call the Clerk and Recorder at 436-2361.
